Careless fisherman caused a hammerhead shark to give birth to a large audience on a Florida beach. According to the British Daily Mail, a fisherman pulled a 5 feet long, hammer pregnant on the shores of Panama City Beach, Florida, causing the animal in shock and have his babies. 04 More Pictures After the Break..
A crowd quickly gathered around the shallow water where the mother shark was set to get a better look at the creature. The audience quickly noticed that the animal was in labor, while struggling on the sand. Many animal lovers near the scene tried to drag the shark back in the water, but said that the predator continued to swim to shore.
Park rangers arrived shortly after the incident to help the shark, but unfortunately, the animal died. Things are better for puppies surprise sharks. Hammers are extremely independent and often swim away from their mothers shortly after birth, as was the case with these babies. They will spend the next few weeks to fend for themselves in the shallow waters around the beach before heading to the ocean.
This show is offensive, it's just one of a growing number of observations of hammerhead sharks around Florida. Sharks are often seen in shallow reefs or following fishing boats. Hammers are not known to attack humans and usually disappear after smaller prey. via
