These sculptures by Robert Wechsler pieces were commissioned by The New Yorker for their October 14th, 2013 edition of Money Magazine. Wechsler finely cut notches coins in circulation using a jeweler's saw to create complex shapes and geometric shapes. This series of sculptures is an extension of the "Beggar" Wechsler where he seeked (and looking) "to awaken under discover in everyday objects and spaces challenging mundane associations through prudent action."
